Carbon is the most dangerous element in the world. It is the driving cause of global warming, which is bound to destroy the human race, and rightfully so, after centuries of capitalistic greed.
And yet strangely carbon-based products are among the greatest advances on the market today. Organic food just means carbon-based food. Organic chemistry is the study of the chemical interactions of carbon-based structures and organisms.
Mine is just a complaint about how loosely and carelessly "carbon" is deployed in our culture. If carbon in the atmosphere is so bad, why not call it "organic climate change"? Maybe it would be less crazymaking. An organic atmosphere sounds mighty healthy.
